Slik Protect gives you the ability to backup your BigQuery database completely. Once your BigQuery database is backed up, you have the ability to restore it whenever you like.

You can get started with BigQuery backups with Slik Protect in a few simple steps.

To add Slik Protect service account email, follow the steps.

Add service account email

This service account allows Slik Protect to connect to your BigQuery database and export it on a schedule based on your settings.

• Visit Google Console for your Firebase project
• Search for IAM & Admin in the search box
  • Example, for project starter-project you will go to the following link https://console.cloud.google.com/iam-admin/iam?project=starter-project
• Select IAM tab on the left sidebar
• Select + Grant Access from top
• Under Add principals, add
  • slikprotect-service-account-r@slikdevelopersdev.iam.gserviceaccount.com
• Under Assign roles, Assign the BigQuery Admin permission ****to this service account
• Click Save to finish adding service account.

Go back to the Slik Protect BigQuery connection page and enter the project name selected above.

You can now start backing up your entire BigQuery database to Slik Protect!
